Medical
Medical: Instruments
in vitro assays
Pojavljuje se na tri mesta u tekstu:
Prvo:
Cadaveric (non-heart-beating) blood specimens, when tested neat, may be invalid due to inhibitory substances within the specimen. These invalid samples may be diluted as explained in SPECIMEN COLLECTION, STORAGE, AND HANDLING, Cadaveric Blood Specimens, and repeated in singlet.
Drugo:
Each control is run in singlet.
Treće:
Sixteen unique cadaveric plasma specimens and 16 unique cadaveric serum specimens were each tested in singlet.

Each blood sample is tested as a singlet with this system; reactive samples are referred to as "initially reactive" (IR) and must be verified by repeating the testing in duplicate using the same EIA test kit. If the IR sample is found to be reactive on the second test run, the sample is labeled as "repeatedly reactive" (RR), or positive.

FAQ:
What is the difference between singlet testing and duplicate testing
? Singlet testing means the sample is run in one tube or well. You receive a single result. Duplicate testing means the sample is run in two tubes or wells. The two results are averaged and the %CV is calculated for the two results.
