English to Russian Medical Medical: Pharmaceuticals

The primary analysis for DAS28 in mean changes from baseline will be analyzed using a restricted maximum likelihood (REML)-based repeated measures approach.
The analysis will include the fixed, categorical effects of treatment, geographic region used for stratification, visit, and treatment-by-visit interaction, as well as the continuous covariate of baseline DAS28 value and **baseline DAS28 by-visit-interaction**.
An unstructured (co)variance structure shared between treatment groups will be used to model the within-patient variability.
The Kenward-Roger approximation will be used to estimate denominator degrees of freedom and adjust standard errors.
Analyses will be implemented using SAS PROC MIXED (SAS® 9.4).
The differences in DAS28 change from baseline, between the two treatment groups, and across different time points (up to Week 30 visit), will be summarized.
The summary statistics will include: differences in mean values by visits, standard error (SE), 95% (90%) CIs of the differences, and observed sample size at each visit.
