Brain cramp is a slang word meaning lapse in judgement - oshibka v suzhdenii ili vremennii proval pamyati - "zaskok", istoschenie uma vizvannii napr nedosypom, but since rats r unable to carry out a judgement (as for memory I am not sure if their memory is similar to ours and if they can memorize things) then this term could be translared directly as mosgovie spazmi / boli (pains)
