If a belt is unrolled and pulled along a floor or hard surface causing friction between mesh and surface it is possible to introduce rotated or twisted spirals were a coil and crimp (rotation point) completely twist, flipping over causing waviness as mentioned above. These twisted spirals need to be put back into alignment before tension is applied. If tension is applied before any turned or rotated spirals have been set back in alignment it will be impossible to rectify at a later time as the spirals will be locked in such a position.
