A basic buzzbait will simply spin the blade on the top of the water making a slight trail behind it and a slight noise as it moves. A buzzbait with holes in the blade will leave a bubble trail that mimics thrashing bait and give it a unique noise on the surface of the water. An arm with a clacker will give the buzz bait a louder noise under the water while also adding a slight flash in the right light.
