So the wine relies on the grape
Simply an excellent Burgundy. Beaunois grape. In fact, just a Chardonnay, but they age it in steel tanks and not in oaken barrels. So the wine relies on the grape, not on the wood. Gives it a fresher, lighter taste than what you might otherwise expect from a Chardonnay.
