Die Schreibweise mit Bindestrich im Deutschen scheint so üblich zu sein, siehe z.B. auch

As Björn mentioned in the discussion, the word in the title should of course be capitalized!

To explain my agreement here:
If I remember correctly, you weren't really fond of Klaus selecting an answer for the "Präferenz" question because none of the answers given proved really accurate (actually, I agree with that).
So, in turn, you should understand why I agreed with Astrid, who provided the appropriate references directly related to "compute shader", not shader in general (there are different types and her link explains the one in question quite well).

On a side note: Don't quite know why this question was asked in the first place. Looking for the product in question gets you a whole lot of search results in seconds.
