There is a lot of biological life in old soil so it can always be used for inoculating new batches of soil, something like co-fertilizing. If you use sterile compost, it will take a long time before a good soil life is up and running in it, stuff like ***antagonists*** and soil fungi. If needs be you can let loose some worms to burrow through and mix up the soil to enable it to be properly fertilized. In this way you establish a continuous process, because the worms improve the soil and thanks to this you automatically get a better root system. No booster could match this.

Mich irritiert, dass der Begriff quasi in einem Atemzug mit Bodenpilzen (soil fungi) erscheint; es hört sich für mich an, als ob es sich um ein konkretes (Klein)Lebewesen handeln müsste, nicht um vage Antagonisten. Und Antagonisten wovon?
Ja, ich tappe zugegebenermaßen im Dunkeln...

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:
An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)
A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Auf dem Gebiet der Bodenverbesserer erforscht , entwickelt und produziert unsere Firma Antagonisten zu bodenbürtigen Schadpilzen wie z.B. Fusarium, Phythium, Rhizoctonia..., sowie Antagonisten zu Nematoden.
Dabei spezialisieren wir uns auf die Erforschung und Entwicklung von Präparaten mit pilzlichen Gegenspielern deren antagonistische Mechanismen von Konkurrenz über Antibiose bis zu Resistenzinduktion reichen.
Neben Antagonisten zu bodenbürtigen Schadpilzen, entwickelt unsere Firma z.Z. Gegenspieler zu saugenden und stechenden Nematoden. Dabei haben sich bereits zwei Pilzarten als vielversprechend erwiesen.
