Comme l'explique Tony dans la discussions, on ne parle pas de rupture de stock ici.
L'entreprise A commande 1000 pièces détachées (ou 1000 kilos de fertilisants, whatever) à l'entreprise B, l'entreprise B livre 850 pièces détachées, alors l'entreprise A devra fournir les pièces manquantes, à ses frais, par bateau ou voie aérienne.

This is not the same as something's 'being in short supply' — that means a 'penurie'.
