English term

piece iridescent penguin family

English to French Tech/Engineering Electronics / Elect Eng Description d'articles décoratifs lumineux.
Dans une liste d'articles :

"PIECE IRIDESCENT PENGUIN FAMILY"

Absolument rien d'autre malheureusement.

Je ne comprends pas le mot "piece" dans cette expression !

Des suggestions ?

Suggestion ! Hi Tony !

Why don't you make a suggestion ?

I think you are absolutely right !
Arnold T. (asker) May 24, 2009:
Piece ... I think you are right. I had the exact same feeling. Something like "individually iridescent" ...
Tony M May 24, 2009:
hyphen? I have a sneaking suspicion this is one of those cases where an omitted hyphen might have helped comprehension, and it really ought to be 'piece-iridescent' — though quite what that means, I'm not sure; maybe it means that each part is separately irridescent, rather than being all cut from one big piece of iridescent sheet, if you see what I mean?

Unless, of course, there's simply a number missing before it, and it ought to read '3-piece ... penguin family'! Probably the more likely scenario!
