De omloopsnelheid van het werkkapitaal. Het werkkapitaal maakt de
dagelijkse gang van zaken binnen uw bedrijf mogelijk; u maakt er dus omzet mee mogelijk. De omloopsnelheid is de verhouding tussen uw omzet en het gemiddelde werkkapitaal. Hoe hoger de verhouding, hoe efficiënter de inzet van uw werkkapitaal.

The sales/ net working capital ratio measures the number of times working capital turns over annually in relation to net sales. This ratio should be viewed in conjunction with the assets to sales ratio. A high turnover rate can indicate overtrading. Also, it may indicate that the business relies extensively upon credit granted by suppliers or the bank as a substitute for an adequate margin of operating funds.
Sales divided by net working capital is the computation for this ratio.
