"Reservation
保留权益
The making of some ‘exception’ by which a legal right is withheld or preserved. In a wide sense, any benefit in respect of the subject matter of the grant which is kept by the grantor for himself. It may imply a keeping back of a physical part of the thing, in which case it is equivalent to an exception; and, accordingly, where the context requires it, ‘reserving’ is construed as making an exception by which a legal right is withheld or preserved: Doe d Douglas v Lock (1835) 2 Ad & El 705.
