Van een doorteelttomaat wordt gesproken wanneer er geplant wordt in december of januari en er 'doorgeteeld' wordt tot na 1 september.
Bij een tussenplanting worden in juni nieuwe planten tussen de oude planten geplant.

Intercropping / double cropping. The additional crop is called "companion crop".

doorgetelt = continuously cultivated
geteelt = English 'cultivated' or 'grown'. What they are trying to do is to distinguish between plants that are cultivated (and harvested) for an extended period of time versus alternating generations of plants that overlap in their cultivation cycles (interplanting). In this case, since both types of plants are the same, you probably would not use 'companion planting'
