Hi Xiaoran,
The more common one would be "Lv" but my Nanjing Star program recognises "Luu" too. Below are some examples taken from the internet:

吕连贵(Luu, Liangui)，48岁，黑龙江省哈尔滨市动力区大法弟子。

吕伟(Lv Wei). 性别：女. 籍贯：北京
ps: One of my favourite ex-students, 吕利敏, spells her English name as "Lv Limin".

This may be a solution.
According to Pinyin Plan, 雨 = yu. The German Umlaut for "yu" is used only when it is not stand alone. But in your case, the only way to avoid the Umlaut.

Most people I know just use Lu. No differecne in spelling between 吕 and 鲁。
