I am wondering whether I can use the term "Oficialia," which I recently found while doing a SP>EN death certificate, on an EN>SP certificate. My understanding is that in context it meant something like an office, branch or locale (the Spanish language certificate said, in the heading, "Oficialia: 3 Libro: 3 Acta: 56089" or something like that).
The place where I want to use it is also in the heading of the EN>SP certificate, where the English says "Dictrict No. ____ Local No. ____." I would make it "Distrito _____ Oficialia _____".
Would this be a proper usage of the term?
My Google searches seem to show "Oficialia Mayor" as being some kind of central agency or head office but I'm not finding much more than that.

oficialía (con acento en la penúltima vocal)
quiere decir lo mismo que negociado o departamento al frente del cual está un oficial administrativo ; puede hablarse, por tanto, de oficialía para referirse a esa función (pública).
