German term

Migraine-accompagnée-Ausformung

German to English Medical Medical (general)
the first word looks odd, the main question is "Ausformung" and perhaps if the grammer/translation of "besassen" is ok.

Zusammenfassend handelte es sich bei Frau Kopfschmerzen offenbar um eine Kombination von Spannungskopfschmerzen mit echten Migraeneattacken, die moeglicherweise zum Teil auch eine *Migraeaccompanee Ausformung besassen*.

In summary, the case of Mrs. Kopfschmerzen deals with a combination of tension headaches with genuine migraine attacks, which possibly in part also *were of a migraine accompanying Ausformung*

Discussion

Non-ProZ.com Apr 9, 2004:
Robert/Marina/Danjela - a question but i don't get it, she had "tension heachaches with genuine migraine attacks, which possibly in part were also migraine embodiments/a type of accompanying migraine. Isn't that doppelgemoppelt? (migraine attacks plus migraines)

Proposed translations

German term (edited): Migraenaccompanee Ausformung besassen
Selected

embodiment

The term is used typically in patent German, fits here too, though.
It is appears to be an embodiment or case in point of migraine accompagnée (the dear doctor's spelling is a little out of touch with the French).
Your translation of "bessassen" (possessed) is all right.

doppelt gemoppelt oder dreifach gemoppelt, depending on how you count it; she had
1) tension headaches
2) with genuine migraine attacks
3) of which 2) might also have partially included a form of migraine accompagnée
whereas 3) definitely is related to 2)

German term (edited): Migraenaccompanee Ausformung besassen

a kind of accompanied migraine

laut Pschyrembel "Klinisches Wörterbuch"
scheint sich wohl hier um eine ziemlich fantasievolle deutsche Schreibweise der migraine accompagnée handeln, diese wird auch auf deutsch so genannt.

type

Ausformung is "kind of", nature, type
but I never heard sth like "migräneaccomanee":)

What you said for "besaßen" is okay I think.
