French term

planches inductives

French to English Social Sciences Social Science, Sociology, Ethics, etc.
I was wondering if anyone could help me with this term. It is from a document on social representations. I will put the full sentence below:
Abric, dans son ouvrage de 1994 (pp.73-102), en répertorie un grand nombre alliant entretiens, questionnaires, planches inductives et monographies.

Many thanks for any suggestions

@Asker Did you find the answer helpful or use any part of it in your translation? Just wanted to check before I enter a gloss.

projective/prompt/flash cards/sheets—prompts, cues

Stab in the dark as I'm not sure exactly what the FR refers to, but my best guess is some aid or tool used to obtain a conscious or unconscious reaction from the respondent (hence inductive, i.e. a respondent's beliefs or attitudes can be inferred from their reaction to the stimulus).

Refs are not conclusive and relate as much to market as social research. but at least "projective" does seem to be in use in EN in a research context.

Another EN use of "projective technique":

And a similar FR use of the term to the ST:

Example sentence:

Projective sheets, flash cards, prompt sheets

Prompts, cues
