Italian term

inquadramento clinico

Italian to English Medical Medical (general) medical reports
I still have trouble with this word 'inquadramento' after years of trying to understand it.

This is from the admitting history of a patient with pneumonia (the history isn't relevant in this case). We have two instances of this little phrase:

Inquadramento Clinico - Anamnesi Generale: (followed by the history)

Inquadramento Clinico - Esame Obiettivo: (followed by the physical exam findings)

What do they mean by this / how should I translate it?

@Aida Vielen Dank.
Stuart and Aida Nelson Jun 7, 2019:
@ Joseph - clinical assessment This is also the case in German. Google clinical assessment: medical history, you get quite a lot of hits.

Clinical assessment: medical history, visual assessment, patient interview, physical exam

Clinical Assessment

A possible solution: in Italian the term refers to a clinical evaluation of a problem (history, physical, diagnostic tests, etc.).

agree Stuart and Aida Nelson : I agree this is what is normally used in medical reports, I have seen the equivalent in German quite often as a title.

Inquadramento in Campo Medico - Clinical Assessment and Classification

L’inquadramento diagnostico: aspetti clinici.
