Dutch term

doorteelt/tussenplanting i.v.m. tomaten

Can anyone help me with the correct English terms? Thanks a million.

doorgetelt = continuously cultivated

geteelt = English 'cultivated' or 'grown'. What they are trying to do is to distinguish between plants that are cultivated (and harvested) for an extended period of time versus alternating generations of plants that overlap in their cultivation cycles (interplanting). In this case, since both types of plants are the same, you probably would not use 'companion planting'
