Tiene razón: High school Math....tiene sentido!!! lol!
Taña Dalglish May 4, 2016:
@ Lorena Me...duh? LOL! (Mathematics did not even occur to me). Good thinking! I think you've got it. Suggest it as an answer. Un abrazo.
lorenab23 May 4, 2016:
what are the chances that HS MA simply means High School Math as one of the subjects transferred...
Taña Dalglish May 4, 2016:
@ Karl I don´t know what happened here, but your posting above has appeared three times (you perhaps wish to delete two of them). On another note (I believe you misunderstand), I am aware MA could mean "Master of Arts", but the point I raised is that the context is within a secondary school/high school. Do high schools have a Master's? (I don't think so, as that is reserved for a University level program). Regards.
Karl H Pasch May 4, 2016:
El término MA significa Master of Arts, pero no implica ser graduado o estar en un nivel alto. Es más como lo que conocemos como "Bachiller en Ciencas y Letras"

Undergraduate Master of Arts degreesEditar

The usage in the ancient universities is not consistent with the Framework or the Bologna Process. The ancient universities of England (Oxford and Cambridge) grant an MA degree that is not a substantive qualification but reflects the ancient practice of these universities of promoting BAs to MAs (and thus full membership of the University) a few years after graduating (see Master of Arts (Oxbridge and Dublin)). The ancient universities of Scotland award an undergraduate MA (see Scottish MA) instead of a BA.

María Perales (asker) May 4, 2016:
Yes, it appears as a subject. There are a series of subjects transfered.
María Perales (asker) May 4, 2016:
It does appear as a subject, in two different terms. I was thinking about HS as Health Sciences. I would opt out the Massachusets option.

High School Master of Arts

HSes definitivamente High School por el contexto. MA no estoy seguro si Master of Arts o Massachusets
Peer comment(s):

neutral Taña Dalglish : Based on a previous question (it is unfortunate the asker did not say "secondary school" as part of context) "es una asignatura de secundaria", so a Master's in secondary school ... Hmm?
