Prise électrique diffuseuse

French to English Tech/Engineering Electronics / Elect Eng
Here are two examples. This is a document relating to recycling electronics, and specifically to Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment (Déchets d'équipements électriques et électroniques) regulations.

"Diffuseur de parfum, de produits anti-moustiques, etc. (autres que prise électrique diffuseuse)"
"Prise électrique diffuseuse de parfum"

Any insight as to what this device is? I am imagining battery operated and plug-in air fresheners and the like but I'm not sure if that's really true to the "prise éléctrique diffuseuse" wording. I'd appreciate it if someone can set me on the right track.

Phil's 'plug-in air freshener' will be fine.

I think it must be plug-in air freshener/fragrance dispenser.

Plug-in air freshener

as opposed to diffuseur for a standard 'stand alone' air freshener
Peer comment(s):

agree Tony M : Though do note you need to keep the 'diffuser' rather than 'air-freshener', since as the source text says, this may not ONLY apply to air-fresheners
