Thank you, Katerina! I find your variant very nice indeed, yet I would disagree and cannot grade it points. For me the resentment that becomes evident/lashes out refers to people, and it sounds like the Hindus immediately show their resentment against travelers which is not true (they are very friendly and they make their living by hosting tourists, so it’s not about resentment proper). Here it goes about some transcendental powers of the places, the temples, the cities and so on, that can “punish” for excessive criticism, disgust etc. That’s why I find the versions of “materialization” more relevant. But, once again, thank you, I will keep your variant in mind for future cases. |
