Column header in a table, the next column header entry is Entraxe fermé (mm).

The document is a catalog of hydraulic equipment. Most of my work is German to English but I am interested in improving my French and would appreciate your help.

@patrick Happy New Year to you too! You certainly do seem to have found the bit of kit involved. Googling 'tractor "hydraulic top link" centre closed open' gives a variety of forms of words for this concept, so I now tend to think that, so long as the term used is descriptive and clear, it is a matter of personal preferrence and there is no single "correct" answer.

(1) I have found a document pertaining to the "Hydraulic equipment for agricultural applications" as suggested by jfwhiteley
(2) I have found in this document the exact french terms quoted by jf.
(3) I have found the same doc in english and displayed here a screenshot of both documents so that everybody can make up their mind.
(4) I have found the meaning of the acronyms used (OCD/CCD)

I believe my translation is correct, I know there might be others as it is often the case.
We are here to offer choices, and ideas, so here is mine, and I stick to it.

linguee is not a translation tool it searches for occurrences of something....
The key her for me was to find some reference to entraxe ouvert/fermé in the "Agriculture / Hydraulic equipment for agricultural applications" field.
The first document displayed one of these equipments with a clear reference to entaxe ouvert/fermé. So I was sure that was in the proper context. I also understood the meaning (the "entraxe" is the distance between the axis on the tractor and the (rotation) axis on the equipment attached to the tractor. Open was max before linkage is done, Close is when the link is in operation (the equipment is attached to the tractor and is ready to be used)
Next step was simply to find an equivalent brochure in english to see how they called it, and I found the acronyms OCD/CCD).

So I guessed O was for Open and C was for Closed.
The last bit was to undertand what CD meant. Linguee is a good tool for that.
I found "Centre" Distance and that made sense as such, as I could see using Linguee that "Centre Distance" was often referenced as "entraxe".

@patrick Very impressive, but afraid I am unconvinced. What reference did you actually find on Linguee? Linguee itself is not a valid reference as it brings up all sorts of rubbish. E.g. clicking on your (incomplete) link took me to citations about "distance between holes" - edges? centres? It also ignores the fact that the intercentre distances may vary in the Asker's context (which we don't know much about) according to whether something else is open or closed.

I did a search on 'entaxe ouvert' as I know what an entre-axe is but had no clue on open/closed entraxe.
I found it a pdf talking Agriculture equipment.

-> I looked for the english equivalent (technical Informations) and it said OCD/CCD
-> it didn't take a tocket scientist to guess O was for open an C was for closed...

-> So what was CD then????

Afraid I haven't time to look for references. Intercentre or inter-centre, but usually not hyphenated nowadays.

"Intercentre distance" is a fairly common term meaning distance between centres of whatever the objects are whose separation is being measured. Used in mechanics, particle physics and bog standard construction and so why not agricultural machinery too?

As the comma indicates, I read the question as though the intercentre distance between whatever and whatever else might vary according to whether something or other is open or closed.
