Academic Report - Colombia
I am translating an academic report for a student who has graduated from a vocational school in Colombia. I am not sure what the abbreviation ***I. Seman.*** refers to:
Periodo 2008-1
Asignatura Créditos I. Seman. Calificaciones
MATEMATICAS 2 4 3.9
FISICA I 3 3 3.8
ALGEBRA LINEAL 2 4 3.7
Promedio: 3.9
The grading scale is 1-5 and the only numbers that appear in the 'I. Seman.' column are 2, 3 and 4.
Any ideas gratefully received!

intensidad semanal > (teaching) hours per week
I think this is almost certainly what it stands for. There's a fair sprinkling of cases of this expression from Colombia, and as can be seen by browsing these results it means number of hours per week (that is, teaching hours, not study hours). The numbers you have, 2, 3 and 4, are clearly compatible with this meaning: whole numbers of the right order for individual course units.
