soldada

Farm machinery
This relates to adjustments to a tractor tyre. I have no idea what "soldadas" could mean here, except that it probably has nothing to do with welding or soldiers, as I can't see how either would fit in the context.
Rodas - Ajuste soldadas (quando instalado)
Largura da bitola:
• Lado interno do aro: 1600 mm (63.0 in).
• Lado externo do aro: 1698 mm (66.9 in).

locking wheel bolts
Bit of a guess this but could it be referring to optional locking wheel bolts/studs when installed (quando instalado) on the wheel hub either to prevent theft and/or the failure of the bolt/stud through over torquing?
The look of a set of wheel bolts/studs could be described as being a bit like a rank of soldiers when lined up (in the same way we refer to soldiers for our boiled eggs!) and therefore it could be a slang term but I have no evidence to back this up.
Sorry if this is a stretch, just trying to think outside the box here! The links show some parts to illustrate my meaning (guess!).

Note from asker:
Thanks John. That seems plausible in the context, but I will have to check with the client. |

Soldered fitting

Note from asker:
Hi sue. I'm pretty confident it's not "soldered" - welded perhaps, but as I said in my initial question I really don't think that is right either. |
