The connector of the NIC of your computer (a connector RJ45 located on the back panel; to see figure 5-1) is conceived to be able to connect a Ethernet cable to it to not armoured twisted pair (UTP [ Unshielded Twisted pair ]). Insert one of the ends of cable UTP in connector NIC until the cable engages with a catch.
