English to Spanish Other Sports / Fitness / Recreation Formula 1 racing

Hi I'd appreciate your help with this term.

I would like to know the equivalent term for this in Spanish car racing.

Context (two examples are provided):

"Last year it had to design its own car and move away from sharing technology with Red Bull, and in the second year that process should be more successful. Unlike fellow Ferrari engine customer Sauber, Toro Rosso has its own gearbox, but it uses Ferrari KERS. The car looked good in testing and has been on the fringes of the top 10.

The team has an enviable record of success, but the fact remains that the last World Championship win was back in 1997, and the most recent Grand Prix victory in 2004. Since the departure of BMW at the end of ’05 the team has been fighting to return to the front of the grid, which is not easy when you are paying for customer engines."
