Supportage According to DicoTP, this is "Soutènement (dans les travaux souterrains) G.B. retainement". Under Soutènement there are some pictures of sections through masonry retaining walls. However, could this be sheet piling, even though that would generally be palplanches?

seems to be specific to piping I googled for =>soudures de supportage -supports -support<= and the responses all seem to refer to supporting pipework, but I've never met supportage before.
