The other two are fine. I just think that since it has such a long horizon, it's worth pointing out that what has happened up to now is just a prologue. Also "has a long way to go" can be more negative (podría sugerir "no ha llegado todavía") than "queda mucho corrido". Remember that "media" is plural.
