It's quite confusing. At first I thought that the court was terminating an order of support (which would make more sense), but, from the full meaning of "jurisdiction" I don't think that's possible from the sentence above. I think the court is putting an end to its own right to award support.

: "Corte" is a false cognate. En Argentina, como en muchos países, se le dice corte al organismo judicial supremo de toda una nación. We're not talking about that kind of court here. "Corte" is a false cognate in this context, and in most cases.
