Arabic to English Bus/Financial Finance (general) Housing loans
The context is:

. تزداد تكلفة القرض مع زيادة مبلغه ومدته ويستفيد الملتزمون من تخفيضات بالمقارنة مع المتقاعسين

I've been thinking about translating this as;

ii. The cost of the loan increases according to its amount and maturity. Compliant borrowers will benefit from reductions in comparison to laggards.

Somehow laggards doesn't sound quite right - any suggestions welcome
