German to English Bus/Financial Finance (general)
The context is a company seeking to save its skin by implementing various financial measures, including convincing on debtor to continue to wait for its loan repayment, or at least that is what I get out of the phrase. Überfälligkeitsrahmen - overdue framework ( I translated your sentence, since I could not find another way to translate your request.) Hoping to be of help.
Example sentence:

The company has to find a way to pay back the loan the easiest way possible for them, therefore they have to find a compromise with the debtor.

delinquency mechanisms

"das zumindest teilweise Fortbestehen des Überfälligkeitsrahmens..."

=>

"...the at least partial perpetuation of the delinquency mechanisms..."

I have worked in finance and I have been avidly following the current crisis on my favorite econ blogs.

I chose "delinquency mechanisms" over alternatives like "delinquency criteria" because the term "Rahmen" ("framework") is very general and could include not only criteria defining when a delinquency has occurred, but also things which happen as a result.
Note from asker:
Thanks! "Mechanism" didn't jive with the rest of the sentence, so went with "agreement" in stead. Thanks for your timely response.
