French term

bien

Non-PRO French to English Bus/Financial General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters
Mais, fait-on bien la différence entre l’éthique des affaires et la responsabilité sociétale des entreprises ?

I can imagine this might mean "can a distinction be made [i.e. at all]" or perhaps "are we getting the difference right", so for the moment I am writing "is the distinction (...) really clear" which covers both options.

Do we really differentiate ...
Note from asker:
thank you for your answer - sorry I closed without grading. I simply got confused by the buttons, and clicked on the wrong one.
Thanks to everyone in fact, I don't think any of the answers are really wrong. If anything is wrong, it is me looking too hard at what is probably a throw-away phrase.

in fact/actually

Your option of "really" would not be wrong, but it always depends on the context - and I would use one of the above in this case.

Are we indeed making a distinction/is there a distinction being made between

Hello,

But I like "actually" and "really" even better.

I hope this helps
