jaw set = jaw en este caso califica a set, noun. Pero de todas maneras la única expresión que puede tener una mandíbula es lucir apretada, de modo que usaría esta opción. Asimismo, los ojos difícilmente puedan dar un aspecto implacable, más bien es la mirada. Así que me tomé algunas "libertades" y ofrezco esta opción.
