German term
eine SQL-Klausel zusammenstellen
German to English
Tech/Engineering
Computers: Software
SQL
I'm puzzled by this usage of zusammenstellen (slightly paraphrased):
"(Man) kann selbst Datenbankfilter konfigurieren, indem man eine SQL-Klausel für die Datenbankabfrage zusammenstellt oder manuell eingibt."
I'm also a bit puzzled by what an "SQL-Klausel" is meant to be, other than an "SQL query". My draft translation:
You can configure database filters yourself by compiling an SQL database query command or entering one manually.
Although I'm sure compiling is wrong.

German term (edited):
(einen SQL-Klausel) zusammenstellen
Selected
compose
SQL queries are sometimes put together using a GUI dialog or form, rather than maually.
So the term zusammenstellen is not strictly SQL-specific. It probably means building, assembling, or composing an SQL clause using a form rather than manually.

Comment: "Ah! Thanks Aidan! Seems so obvious now. At least compiling wasn't TOO far off the mark."
