German to English Tech/Engineering Engineering (general) fire safety
Hello everyone,

This is from some fire safety regulations:

"Der Schließbereich von Brandschutzrolltoren muß stets frei gehalten werden."

I can't think of a neat term for "Schliessbereich", and would be grateful for any help!

Thanks for your answer, Ken, but this occurs elsewhere in the text. This sentence applies specifically to shutters, and to the space they need to roll down.
