Happy Monday to you all! Here I am with my church hymnal again, playing with jig-saw puzzles in the shape of words. The last line of this stanza, "just a pilgrim as my fathers were" has me scratching my head. "Peregrino?" How do I go about fitting that into the meter here. I've got 9-10 syllables to work with. If it's any help, the orignal words are a paraphrase from Psalm 39, which translates the word as "advenedizo." Thanks for any inspired help!
