When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Εκτός και εάν με το παραδοθεί, εννοεί "συμμορφωθεί" οπότε και θα ήταν προτιμώτερο να πούμε "complied with"

Εύη, το ρήμα submit στη παθητική φωνή σημαίνει "υποστεί, περάσει" όπως λέμε "πόσα πέρασες για να φτάσεις εδω; είναι δηλαδή συνώνυμο με το "subjected"
Όταν όμως λέμε The king submitted to the will of the people τότε εννοούμε ότι παραδόθηκε και αποδέχτηκε κάτι ...
Ελπίζω να σε διαφώτισα .. μακρυγόρησα και γιαυτό είπα να το θέσω ως προσθήκη

προτιμώ το complied with. Απλουστεύει πολύ αυτό που θέλει να πεί ο καλλιτέχνης αλλά με την απελευθέρωση των επικοινωνιών η παράδοση όλων ειναι μοιραία!
