assisted living OR care of the elderly with loss of functional independence

What the French term describes is called "assisted living for the elderly" in English, but I'm giving you a direct translation, too.

I'm an expert on assisted living at the moment, as I'm personally involved in obtaining such services for my own very elderly parents. As a matter of fact, I'm about ready to move them from one facility in Massachusetts to another, in my hometown, where the services are more extensive (nursing care, the next step on the continuum, as well as assisted living care), and, of course, they are closer to me, so I can be of more help.

"Assisted living" means:

--help with medications
--prepared meals
--help in getting dressed
--nursing staff on duty 24 hours a day
--help in eating (cutting food, etc.)
cuing, where there is memory loss (for instance, walking someone through the steps necessary to brush their teeth--everytime they need to brush their teeth; reminding someone to pick up their glass to drink, because an aspect of dementia is loss of initiative to take in liquids).
--help with bathing
--Etc., etc.
