English term

Override (noun)

English to French Bus/Financial
I am looking for the word "Override", used as a noun. For example in a heading called "How to enter overrides for current position." So far I can only find a verb or an adjective for this. Is there a noun in French or can someone suggest how I might reword this heading in French? The context is financial software. Thanks.

neutral 1964 : I think it is "overriding commision : "supercomission " "

don't see commission though...overrider or overriding commission does exist though - I really don't know whether it applies here

Jsut a minute it is something totaly different.
overriding commision : \"supercomission \"
Since it is software they must write it in sport form (I think)
Banking Dictionary
(I thought that was a software command but seems it is and icon or account therein

neutral Meri Buettner : I found this noun also, but only to do with flight instruments and helicopters

contrepassations

would maybe fit your context?

btw, it reminded me of a funny saying i saw somewhere and thought i'd share it, hope no one minds, here goes:

Stress is a condition created when the mind overrides the urge to choke the living daylight out of someone.

neutral Meri Buettner : have no idea about the term, but LOVE that saying !
