Aquí van los contextos:
1. Some transactions could post and balance to the new account number
2. The server will balance all data files from the franchises through a procedure called Account Balancing.
3. If there are multiple Account Identifiers that balance to another account (Centrally Billed), all of those transactions must have the Balance to Account identified correctly to the summary account. The same balancing rule apply. There will just be transactions that were incurred on multiple accounts all being balanced to the summary
4.Initial balancing of the file is performed upon completion of verification/validation tests.

No te confundas. "Balancing of a file" se refiere a una transacción procesada por el software. Puedes decir "la liquidación (o el cierre) de un archivo".

Estoy de acuerdo con Maria Eugenia en términos contables, pero si se refiere a software, "balance" me parece más apropiado.
