I find it somewhat difficult to specify the field for this question. It could be ESOTERIC too, but in the context on hand, the LICHTWESEN IN THE HOCHMOOR have to do, believe it or not, with telecommunications (mobile radio antenna)
and resulting strange phenomena. - I find the LICHTWESEN explained as a type of angel and there are many translations calling it LIGHTBEING(s). Is that correct or is there an other/better way to describe the "thing" in English?

This occurred to me just now as an alternative, esp. if you would like to keep it vague and are not sure if the author speaks of supernatural phenomena, ghosts, or manifestations of physical/electrical processes

For some time now I've been trying to reveal/make visible/uncover/show [the presence of luminiscent] beings by taking photos against the light. For example, I made a photo card that depicts/shows such a luminiscent being before the background of/originating from a swamp...

Possible answer...
This is a real stab in the dark: we have gremlins and demons in our computers when there are problems. Is this referring to similar problems in telecommunications. If so, it is probably metaphorical, and thus could be "angels on the moors" (though angels are usually benign beings!) or "gremlins on the moors".

High moors and antenna make me think of "Irrlichter" rather than "Lichtwesen", since the latter are definitely too benign--if you believe in them... ;-)

Maybe this is what your looking for - bright bluish-white glow, appearing like fire in some circumstances, often in double or triple jets, from tall, sharply-pointed structures such as masts, spires and chimneys, and on aircraft wings. And maybe from mobile radio antennae too?

nearly Fairies I suppose. The sentence does not explain the gentler nature
