Dutch term

Meeneembeperkende maatregelen

Dutch to English Tech/Engineering Finance (general)
Context: anti-theft measures
These measures aim to limit the possibility of taking away objects in case of a burglary. (e.g. when a computer is anchored to the desk). I was thinking along the lines of "swipe-limiting" measures... yet 'to swipe' might be too informal in this context. Any suggestions?

I went with anchor-point measures in the end :-)
David Van der Vloet (asker) Dec 20, 2005:
I don't think I should generalise too much in this case, the entire document is anti-theft related... so that'd be too general. I found out the life of a burglar is a hard one :p
writeaway Dec 20, 2005:
shops can be heavy too ;-)
David Van der Vloet (asker) Dec 20, 2005:
Office lifting is kind of hard :-) The answer is correct... yet too long to be of use. The word is used too often...
writeaway Dec 20, 2005:
thanks. asked because shoplifting came to mind (I know that's winkeldiefstal, but....) ;-)
David Van der Vloet (asker) Dec 20, 2005:
in an office.
writeaway Dec 20, 2005:
in a store or in an office?

theft prevention measures

I wouldn't complicate too much if I were you.
Peer comment(s):

neutral writeaway : but the context itself is 'anti-theft' (ie theft prevention) measures. so it really doesn't work in this particular case imho/Asker states it in question and in comments

How can you be sure what the EXACT context (phrase) is?
