German term

Hygenie-Fachkräfte

German to English Medical Medical (general) endotrachial suction
Is there an accepted equivalent in English for Hygenie-Fachkräfte? I always associate "Hygienists" with "Dental Hygienists", but these are in a hospital performing endotrachial suction on premature babies - it comes from the title of the Association's journal:

"KRANKENHAUSHYGENIE + INFEKTIONSVERHÜTUNG

Offizielles ORgan der Vereinigung der Hygenie-Fachkräfte der Bundesrepublik Deutschland e.V. (VHD)"

TIA!

infection prevention/control

This really IS a guess, I am not a medical professional, nor do I play one on TV. But I know there is such a thing as an infection prevention/control nurse - could this be it?
