Spanish term

persona responsable

Spanish to English Other IT (Information Technology) EU projects
This is a job title for an EU research project leader. I don't want to use manager/leader (these terms are already in use for other posts). Any ideas?

Discussion

Non-ProZ.com Jun 3, 2005:
I found some EU docs that simply use: "Person responsible for the project" so it's a toss-up between that or director...
Non-ProZ.com Jun 3, 2005:

Of course, the person that is responsible is the authority. Depending on the structure he or she may be the director also.

the responsible for the project

Si no quieres utilizar ningún término de los que nombras, ¿por qué no utilizar algo tan simple como estó?

the PERSON responsible, of course
Peer comment(s):

disagree Andy Watkinson : I'm afraid you cannot say "the responsible" alone as it is an adjective - This would require something like "the person/party responsible"
