Spanish term

innominada (en este contexto)

Saludos, Tere

From the context, it seems an appropriate rendition

Thanks for that further information, Tere. You will find many references to generic exceptions on Google and Yahoo!, but they all seem to be in a computer programming context. In each case the term seems to denote something which falls outside the class of items under consideration - class as in mathematics. ".... compensation or any other amounts" or ".......... compensation or other sums claimed" might fit the context if your client can confirm that is what is meant.
