Italian term

ciao e... a presto

Non-PRO Italian to English Other
A friend of mine closed a letter with "Ciao e... a presto." I was wondering what it meant in English? Thanks.

Bye....until next time

Literally it would be 'Bye...'till soon'. In the case of closing a letter, a friendly way of saying "Goodbye, until (we hear/write/see depending on the circumstances) each other again".
