Whether the pt. is having an adrenergic crisis or not, the speaker has choosen to use a more general phrase which does not allude to the medical emergency known as adrenergic crisis (It: crisi adrenergica).
I'd choose "adrenergic surge", a quite used expression to denote a sudden rise in both adrenergic hormone levels and sympathetic tone, and adrenoceptor activation.

Propranolol (Inderal may be used to prevent adrenergic crisis
If anticholinergic poisoning is ruled out, administer chlorpromazine (Thorazine). Because of PCP\'s analgesic effects, patients will have increased pain tolerance and may severely injure themselves in struggling against any kind of restraint. If restraint is necessary, begin drug therapy to control agitation.
