Actually I think this is sufficiently different from other proposals to warrant a separate entry.

I've done some work on tunnels and their associated link roads where you might have a Tunnel PM and PMs responsible for the approach roads/lines at either end, each project being carried out independently, to the extent possible. Though in the most recent example I think they had "Northern/Southern Zone project managers".

: Where do you get "Department" from?

Bourth (X)
: Could be, in some contexts, but I have a feeling that "section" here refers to a section of a canal, road, railway, etc.

Project section head
Not department. A project can be divided into sections in various ways, so it is best to retain the term "section".

: Or "Project section manager" maybe.

Thanks Chris. "Manager" might be a less responsible and elevated position.

Bourth (X)
: Or Section/Stretch Project Manager, who might be PM for a 10km stretch of motorway, since such things are usually built in sections, simultaneously, and grow outwards towards each other.
