English term
IT seal count
English to German
Tech/Engineering
IT (Information Technology)
Vergütung v. IT-Dienstleistungen
Hallo,
aus einer Vereinbarung über die Bereitstellung verschiedener Dienstleistungen, darunter auch IT-Dienstleistungen:
"To the extent Information Technology services provide benefit to more than one Participant, such services costs shall be allocated to the recipients of such services by ***IT Seal Count***."
Weiß jemand, was damit gemeint ist?
Vielen Dank,
M.

Hi Marcel,
You do not provide any context, and, this is indeed a puzzling term.
Although I have no definitive answer for you, I have conducted a search on the Internet (I am sure you have done the same) for possible solutions. Excluding references to mammalian seal counts, the only link I have find in an IT context is this one:
http://www.functionpointmodeler.com/fpm-infocenter/index.jsp...
In this case, the application maintains counters which can be sealed, that is, locked so that the user cannot change it. I hope this might be a pointer in the right direction for you.
Regards
Lars Peter

Note from asker:
Thank you very much for your answer. This already helps me a lot because it corroborates what I had in mind. Unfortunately, the context I provided is the only context I have... |
